How to disassemble liquid ring vacuum pump

Liquid ring vacuum pump can be divided into single stage and double stage, and the difference between single effect and double effect. The single-stage and double-stage vacuum pumps refer to the stages of their impellers; the single / double effect refers to the way of their impellers / casings. The impellers of the single effect impeller vacuum pump rotate once and experience one suction / discharge of gas; the impellers of the double effect vacuum pump rotate once and experience two suction and discharge of gas.

All parts of the liquid ring vacuum pump shall be completely cleaned in the process of repair. The specific steps of disassembly and assembly are as follows: unscrew and remove the screws, and remove the diaphragm of the liquid ring vacuum pump cover and O-ring assembly along the axial direction. Generally, it is not necessary to remove the diaphragm from the pump cover, but if it is necessary to replace the diaphragm, clean or replace the valve plate, or if the cavitation maintenance pipe and O-ring are dropped, the diaphragm shall be removed from the pump cover.

When the diaphragm is disassembled from the pump cover, it can be pierced into a Φ 12M, l = 140mm round rod from the emptying port of the liquid ring vacuum pump cover. After the diaphragm is removed, the valve plate baffle, valve plate and cavitation maintenance pipe can be removed from the disc. Unscrew the bolts and remove the pump cover, diaphragm and O-ring together.

Screw out the screw, take out the impeller pressing plate and adjusting washer, pull out the impeller through pulling force, and remove the flat key from the main shaft. Remove the mechanical seal. In order to remove the mechanical seal more simply, the motor shaft before the mechanical seal can be coated with water and smooth (rubber bellows seal prevents oil or grease from being smooth). If there are calcifications such as scale on the electric shaft, the mechanical seal shall be removed after it is cleaned, otherwise the mechanical seal will be damaged simply.
