Structure description: water ring vacuum pump is composed of pump body, front and rear end cover, impeller, shaft and other parts. And parts and components are complementary, one less vacuum pump will be paralyzed, so let's take a look at the detailed structure of the vacuum pump.

The intake pipe and exhaust pipe are connected with the pump cavity through the suction hole and exhaust hole installed on the disc on the end cover. The impeller of the water ring vacuum pump is fixed on the shaft with a key and installed eccentrically in the pump body. The total clearance at both ends of the pump is adjusted by the gasket between the pump body and the disc. The clearance between the impeller and the front and rear discs is adjusted by the impeller driven by the shaft sleeve. The clearance at both ends is guaranteed to be uniform. The shaft and impeller are interference fit, and the clearance is determined by the front end positioning. The gap between the two end faces of impeller and the front and rear discs determines the loss of gas and its pressure in the flow from the air inlet to the exhaust port.

The packing of the water ring vacuum pump is installed in the two end covers. The sealing water enters the packing through the small hole in the end cover to cool the packing and enhance the sealing effect. The make-up water required for impeller to form water ring is supplied by water supply pipe, which can also be connected with steam water separator for circulating water supply. If the mechanical seal is adopted, the mechanical seal is installed in the packing cavity without packing. The packing gland is replaced by the mechanical seal gland, and the other structures are the same.

The bearing of water ring vacuum pump is fixed on the shaft by a round nut. A disc is arranged on the end cover, and the disc is provided with suction and exhaust holes and rubber ball valves. The function of rubber ball valve is that when the gas pressure between impeller blades reaches the exhaust pressure, the gas will be discharged before the exhaust port, feeding the power consumed due to the excessive gas pressure and reducing the power consumption.
