Roots vacuum pumps are usually used with the front pump. In use, especially in the process of start and stop, it should be noted that the process is different from simple single pump, and the sequence is strict. Interruption may cause damage to the device unit. Therefore, let's see what the roots vacuum pump starts in the process of use.
Let's start with the startup program. In addition to multistage, wet and air-cooled Roots vacuum pumps, conventional roots vacuum pumps need to be combined with the front pump to avoid equipment damage due to excessive pressure difference. So before starting the roots vacuum pump:
(1) Start the front pump; 2) open the valve on the pipeline of the front pump and the intake and exhaust valve of Roots vacuum pump;
When the system pressure reaches the allowable inlet pressure of Roots vacuum pump (the allowable inlet pressure of Roots vacuum pump from different manufacturers is different), close the valve on the pre pumping pipeline and restart the roots vacuum pump. In the absence of the above-mentioned pre pumping pipeline, the front pump can start the roots vacuum pump after pumping the allowable inlet pressure of the roots vacuum pump.
Roots vacuum pump must be used in strict accordance with the technical specifications. Generally speaking, the inlet pressure of Roots vacuum pump is below 1330 PA, and the pumping efficiency is good (the maximum pumping efficiency should be in the range of 100-1 PA). In application, the maximum inlet pressure shall not exceed the maximum allowable inlet pressure, nor shall it be suitable for operation under high inlet pressure for too long. In addition, under normal operation, the maximum temperature of the general pump shall not exceed 40 ℃, and the maximum temperature shall not exceed 80 ℃, which depends on the specific characteristics of the manufacturer's products. There shall be no irregular abnormal vibration and noise during operation. In case of motor overload, high temperature rise, abnormal noise and large vibration during operation, stop the machine immediately to check the cause and remove the fault.
