structure description: Water ring vacuum pump is composed of pump body, front
and rear end cover, impeller, shaft and other parts. And parts and components

vacuum pump:
The intake pipe and the exhaust pipe are connected to the
pump cavity through the suction hole and the exhaust hole on the disk mounted on
the end cover. The impeller of the water ring vacuum pump is fixed on the shaft
with a key and is eccentrically installed in the pump body. The total gap
between the two ends of the pump is adjusted by the pad between the pump body
and the disc. The gap between the impeller and the front and rear discs is
adjusted by the impeller pushing the impeller. The gap at both ends is
guaranteed to be uniform. The shaft and the impeller are interference fits, and
this clearance is determined when the front end is positioned. The clearance
between the two end surfaces of the impeller and the front and rear disks
determines the magnitude of the gas loss in the pump cavity from the inlet to
the exhaust port and its ultimate pressure.
The water ring vacuum pump
packing is installed in the two ends of the cap, and the sealing water enters
the packing through the small holes in the end cap, cooling the packing and
strengthening the sealing effect. The supplementary water required for the
impeller to form a water ring is supplied by the water supply pipe, which can
also be connected to the steam-water separator to circulate water. If the
mechanical seal is used as the seal type, the mechanical seal is installed in
the filling cavity, and no filler is needed. The filler gland is replaced with a
mechanical seal gland, and the rest of the structure is the same.
The
water ring vacuum pump bearing is fixed on the shaft by a round nut. A disc is
installed on the end cover, and the disc is provided with suction and exhaust
holes and a rubber ball valve. The function of the rubber ball valve is that
when the gas pressure between the impeller blades reaches the exhaust pressure,
the gas is discharged before the exhaust port, which feeds the power consumed by
the excessive gas pressure and reduces the power consumption.
