Water ring vacuum pump, especially large water ring vacuum pump, is worth tens of thousands less and hundreds of thousands more. As the only assembly place of sealing rope with friction, the shaft sleeve plays the following roles in design and installation: 

1、 The shaft sleeve is generally made of wear-resistant alloy. It is characterized by wear resistance, high hardness, smooth surface and no rust, so it can protect the shaft from wear

2、 Due to the characteristics of the shaft sleeve, the wear of the sealing rope is reduced and the service life of the sealing rope is prolonged

3、 Ensure that the rotor will not be stuck and unable to rotate due to rust when the machine is shut down for a long time

4、 Convenient maintenance, reduce maintenance costs

At present, in order to reduce the cost, many manufacturers use cast iron material as shaft sleeve, which completely loses the original intention of shaft sleeve and has no effect.
