Installation of water ring vacuum pump

The premise of vacuum pump operation is correct installation. If it is not properly installed, there will be many faults that can not run. How should each part of water ring vacuum pump be installed? 


1、 Install the pump body and mechanical seal

The static ring part of the mechanical seal is installed on the pump body. When the static ring part of the mechanical seal is installed, it can be wetted with water and then evenly pressed into the pump body by hand. Pay attention not to use too much force! After assembly, check whether the static ring part of mechanical seal and pump body are assembled tightly. 



Press the pump body tightly on the motor and tighten the bolts. Pay attention not to damage the static ring part of mechanical seal. Install the washer into the motor rear cover, and then install the pump body, motor front cover, bearing, motor rotor and inner bearing cover into the motor housing, and lock the bolts. Install the motor fan, retaining ring, motor shield and screw in turn. After installation, the fan shield end of the motor of the pump shall face down and be vertical to the ground, and other parts of the pump shall be ready to be installed.

The working principle of rotary vane vacuum pump is known to all. But the temperature of rotary vane vacuum pump is too high. It refers to the maximum oil temperature measured near the low-level exhaust valve that exceeds the value specified in the instruction manual. Rotary vane vacuum pump is generally used at room temperature no less than 5 and relative temperature no higher than 90%. The gas enters the high vacuum chamber from the intake nozzle. At first, the high and low vacuum chambers are filled with atmosphere, and both exhaust valves are opened for exhaust. 


With the progress of air pumping, the air pressure decreases (i.e. the vacuum degree increases). The pressure in the high vacuum chamber is not enough to push the exhaust valve open. The gas enters the low vacuum chamber through the middle partition plate. At this time, the pressure is not enough to open the exhaust valve. However, there is a certain amount of oil entering the low vacuum chamber to help push open the exhaust valve, and the gas will be discharged. The discharged gas is mixed with oil particles, which are filtered by the oil screen to separate the oil. Only the gas is discharged from the pump.

The oil in the oil seal chamber of the rotary vane vacuum pump is supplied by the oil pool a through the hole on the front plate. The oil in the low vacuum chamber is supplied by the oil pool a through the holes in the rear end plate. The oil in the high vacuum chamber is circularly supplied by the hole in the middle diaphragm. The oil in the oil seal chamber of the rotary vane vacuum pump is supplied by the oil pool a through the hole on the front plate. The oil in the low vacuum chamber is supplied by the oil pool a through the holes in the rear end plate. The oil in the high vacuum chamber is circularly supplied by the hole in the middle diaphragm. The seal of the front and rear end covers of the rotary vane vacuum pump is sealed by the oil pool B on the upper part of the pump body and flowing into the oil groove through the hole in the end face chamber of the pump body.
