Working process of vacuum pump unit

In the process of using vacuum pump unit, its main function is to improve the vacuum degree of the vacuum system and the pumping speed under high vacuum environment. Since there is no gas compression in the working process of roots pump, when roots pump is directly discharged into the atmosphere, the pressure difference between the suction port and the exhaust port will be too large, which will overload the vacuum pump. If the power of the vacuum pump motor is simply increased, the vacuum will be caused The pump overheats so that the small gap between the vacuum pump rotors is quickly blocked due to thermal expansion. 


In order to ensure that the vacuum pump unit can reach a higher vacuum, the clearance between the vacuum pump rotors must be ensured. Therefore, the vacuum pump must be equipped with a front-end pump. When the pressure in the system is pumped to a certain range by the front-stage pump, the vacuum pump can be started again, so as to avoid overload of the vacuum pump. The front stage pump can choose screw vacuum pump, rotary vane vacuum pump, scroll vacuum pump and other vacuum pumps which can discharge air directly.

In general, the vacuum degree of a single screw vacuum pump can be better than that of 2-3 water ring or reciprocating vacuum unit. If it is necessary to maintain high pumping speed in high vacuum environment, it is recommended to use with vacuum pump.
