Roots pump

After a period of operation, the roots pump (mechanical booster pump) unit produces abnormal noise, which may be caused by the following reasons:

1. The starting pressure of roots pump is too high, resulting in overheating of pump parts and damage.
2, the larger abrasive particles produced in the production process enter the roots pump and cause the wear of the machine parts.
3, the pump's position is not right, for example: tilt placed. The amount of lubricating oil in the pump is not suitable.

All the above reasons will lead to poor precision or serious pollution of the parts of the Roots pump, thus causing abnormal noise in the operation of the Roots pump.

When it is found that the pump produces abnormal noise in operation, it should immediately check whether the starting pressure of the pump meets the prescribed value, and can use ammeter to check whether the input current of the pump motor meets the rated value, whether there is abnormal high or low. It is also necessary to check the condition of the lubricating oil in the pump and whether the pump's location is suitable.

The pump disassembly procedure is as follows:
1, release lubricating oil and cooling water;
2, disassemble the coupling and motor.
3. Remove bypass and bypass valves.
4, dismantling bearings;
5. Remove front and rear cover and sealing device.
6, remove the rotating gear;
7, remove the rotor.
