Roots vacuum pump unit operating sequence

 We know that roots vacuum pump needs front stage pump when it is used. Vacuum unit generally includes roots pump water ring pump vacuum unit, roots pump water ring pump large air pump unit, roots pump water ring pump parallel mechanical vacuum pump unit. For the vacuum unit, the operation sequence is more important. 


1. When there is no bypass valve in the unit, the water ring pump should be started first. The gas in the pumping system enters the water ring pump through roots vacuum pump (the gas drives the rotor of roots pump to rotate itself, just like a flowmeter), and then it is discharged into the atmosphere. When the suction pressure of the water ring pump (or the suction pressure of large and medium air pumps, if there are large and medium air pumps connected in series) reaches the original standard value of roots pump (i.e. allowable working pressure of exhaust pipe), roots pump will start and generator set will be announced to operate and start working.

Two When the unit is equipped with a bypass valve, the water ring pump is started first, and then the root vacuum pump is started. At this time, the pressure difference between the root pump and the exhaust gas is large, and the bypass valve is opened automatically. The gas part of the pump enters the water ring pump through the bypass valve, and the other part of the pump enters the water ring pump under the action of the root pump. The air extraction rate is obviously enhanced, so the pre vacuum value of the root pump is quickly reached, and the air pressure difference between the inlet and the exhaust is small, The valve closes automatically (or manually), and the unit works normally. This method can greatly shorten the pre drawing time, but the equipment is more complex.
