However, there are still some factors in the vacuum pump unit that make the performance of the vacuum pump unit fail to be brought into full play.

1, condensation is not enough. The compressed gas temperature of the vacuum pump unit is low, and the exhaust temperature is only 10 ~ 15 degrees higher than the inlet temperature. Because of this characteristic, the vacuum pump unit is suitable for pumping and pressing inflammable and explosive gases. Condensate plays an important role in vacuum pump unit. Condensate can condense steam sufficiently. However, once the cooling water supply is insufficient, the condenser will produce a heating phenomenon, the sound of the air flow becomes larger, the vacuum degree drops rapidly, and even the steam will return to the exhaust pipe. The partial pressure of water vapor in the discharge pressure of vacuum pump unit must be higher than the corresponding full vapor pressure, so the condensate temperature should be lower than the full temperature under this pressure to ensure the normal operation of pump body.

2, seal state. The sealing device of vacuum pump unit is one of the important components to maintain the normal operation of vacuum pump unit. Because of the particularity of dry gas medium, the sealing of vacuum pump unit is required to ensure that the dry gas can neither leak out nor leak inside.

3, environmental factors. The influence of the environment mainly refers to the pollution of the system caused by the exhausted gas. During the disposal of the molten steel, a lot of gas will be discharged. At the same time, some small particles such as oxide powders will be sucked into the vacuum pump unit. These small particles will accumulate and adhere to the pump body, which reduces the flow conductivity of the exhaust pipe and prolongs the exhaust time.
