Vacuum pump unit functional structure

Different vacuum systems require different degrees of vacuum. Therefore, it often needs to be completed by a set of vacuum pumps. That is, by working in series with vacuum pumps in different pressure ranges, the vacuum pump on the high vacuum side can reach the vacuum required by the system, while the vacuum pump on the low vacuum side is directly exhausted. Obviously, a relatively simple vacuum pump unit is a vacuum pump with direct discharge. But a high vacuum system usually needs three units, and a medium vacuum usually requires two units. A high vacuum pump and a low vacuum pump are difficult to form an effective high vacuum pump unit. But if a middle vacuum pump is connected between the high and low vacuum pumps, it can play the role of connecting the top and bottom, continuous flow, and each pump can work in the best state.


Vacuum pump is to pump out the gas in the vacuum vessel, but often the pump's air outlet can not be directly connected with the pumped vessel. Because of the technical needs or to reduce the pollution degree of the vacuum pump unit with oil vapor pollution, it is necessary to connect with the pumped vessel through the cold trap, valve, pipeline. The pipe diameter of vacuum pump unit is large, the resistance loss will be small under the condition of the same flow rate and small liquid velocity; if the pipe diameter is small, the resistance loss will be aggravated. Therefore, the intake pipe of vacuum pump unit should be equipped with a valve, which is used to regulate the amount of water intake, the amount of water intake has an impact on the degree of vacuum. When regulating the amount of water intake, the valve is controlled by checking the pointer of the vacuum meter.

The material selection and sealing of the pipes and valves above the inlet of the main pump of the vacuum pump unit should be especially careful. Stainless steel and metal sealing structure and sealing materials are generally used.Vacuum-unit-introduction
