Most of the
rotary vane vacuum pumps are small and medium vacuum pumps. There are two types
of rotary vane vacuum pump: single stage rotary vane vacuum pump and double
stage vacuum pump. The so-called two-stage rotary vane vacuum pump is to connect
two single-stage pumps in series in structure. Generally, it is made of
two-stage to obtain a higher vacuum. The relationship between the pumping speed
and the inlet pressure of the rotary vane vacuum pump is as follows: under the
inlet pressure of 1333pa, 1.33pa and 1.33 × 10-1 (PA), the pumping speed shall
not be lower than 95%, 50% and 20% of the nominal pumping speed of the pump
respectively.
The working principle of two-stage pump is composed of two
single-stage pumps in series. During operation, the extracted gas enters the
high vacuum stage through the suction tube first. When the suction gas pressure
is high, one part of the gas is discharged by the exhaust valve 2, and the other
part is discharged by the exhaust valve 1 through the low vacuum stage. When the
suction pressure is low, though compressed by high vacuum level, exhaust valve 2
can't be opened for exhaust, so it can only be compressed by low vacuum level
and discharged by exhaust valve 1, because the limit vacuum of two-stage pump is
higher than that of single-stage pump.
