The Roots vacuum pump system is mainly a vacuum pump that uses a pair of lobed rotors in the pump chamber to move the gas synchronously and reversely.

1. Its structure and working principle are similar to that of the Roots blower. When it is working, its suction port is connected with the vacuum pump or the main pump of the vacuum system. The vacuum pump has no contact between the rotor and the rotor, and between the rotor and the pump casing, and does not need to be lubricated with oil.

2. The rotor type has circular arc, involute and cycloid. The volume utilization of the involute rotor pump is high, and the machining accuracy is easy to ensure, so the rotor type line is more involute type.

3. Secondly, there is a pair of mechanical vacuum pumps with synchronous sole-rotor rotating at high speed. This pump can not be pumped separately. The front stage needs to be equipped with oil seal, water ring and so on.
