Waste oil treatment of vacuum system
The silicothermic magnesium
smelting process is the reduction process of MgO · Cao by Si under the condition
of high temperature and high vacuum. The front pump of the main pump used in
vacuum engineering is h-slide pump, and the slide pump is oil pump, usually kk-1
× vacuum pump oil. In the reduction process, the dust, water or water vapor in
the pellet will enter the pump cavity to make the vacuum pump oil emulsified.
The emulsified pump oil will destroy the seal of the pump and make the vacuum
degree of the system not reach the rated vacuum degree, that is to say, the
effect of the h-slide valve pump depends on the quality of the vacuum pump oil.
In the process of pumping, it mainly depends on the high viscosity of
vacuum pump oil, which is not easy to compress and plays the role of sealing,
lubrication and cooling in the pump. However, when the dust and water (or steam)
in the pellet are sucked into the vacuum pump cavity, the vacuum pump oil is
quickly emulsified, dirty and deteriorated, which makes the vacuum pump unable
to play its effect. The vacuum degree of the system immediately drops, which
affects the rate of reduction reaction and the quality and production of
magnesium. In order not to affect the quality and production of crude magnesium
during reduction, the oil has to be changed. The polluted waste oil (according
to The actual consumption per ton of magnesium vacuum pump oil is 50kg) if it is
not treated and reused, the production cost of magnesium will be affected.
