In view of the working conditions of dust and acid gas when the vacuum pump works, and the vacuum pump works continuously for a long time, the technical personnel of the vacuum pump factory put forward several suggestions on the maintenance process of the vacuum pump:
1. A metal filter screen is arranged at the air inlet of the vacuum pump;
2. For the maintenance of the vacuum pump, take two weeks as a cycle to clean the sediment in the oil tank, forcibly replace the vacuum pump oil, clean the metal filter screen, check and replace the damaged valve plate and spring.
3. In the selection of vacuum pump oil, mineral oil with low saturation pressure and kinematic viscosity of 100mm2 / s should be selected, which has the characteristics of low price (for titanium smelting, it is not economical to select synthetic vacuum pump oil);
4. During the cooling period of ingot or idle time of production, the production team is required to open the gas ballast valve, pump the gas for about 1H, and discharge the water in the pump oil out of the pump as much as possible; by frequently changing the pump oil, keep the pump cavity clean, ensure the reasonable viscosity of the pump oil, maintain its sealing performance, and reduce the scratch of hard particles on the pump cavity;
5. By removing the water in the oil, reducing the formation of hydrochloric acid, and delaying the corrosion of hydrochloric acid to the components in the pump cavity.
