The bearing
of the Roots vacuum pump is the key to support the normal operation of the
entire equipment. In order to avoid the failure caused by the deformation,
countermeasures need to be taken.
1. Measure the bearing hole of the
deformed Roots vacuum pump and measure the amount of deformation.
2.
Process the Roots vacuum pump after fitting to the theoretical size.
3.
After the upper and lower boxes processed in the unit are fastened, the actual
bearing hole appears as a long axis equal to the theoretical hole diameter, and
the horizontal hole diameter is slightly smaller than the theoretical hole
diameter.
4. According to the deformation amount t of the long axis,
remove the thickness of the upper and lower surfaces of the unit by the value of
t.
5. Process the other bearing positions to the theoretical size.
6. After processing, the bolt hole of the bearing cover will be
misaligned with the bolt hole of the box. The bearing cover can be reamed or the
bearing hole of the box can be mapped and re-made.
