The general process flow of papermaking is as follows:
Raw material - slicing - Cooking - washing - Screening - bleaching - beating - vacuum dewatering (using water ring vacuum pump) - pressing dewatering - drying - shaping - leaving the factory.
The pulp after beating contains a lot of water, so the water in the pulp must be removed before it can be made into finished products. Vacuum dewatering is the first stage of pulp dewatering.
The vacuum dewatering process involves spraying pulp into a copper mesh with fine grids woven from copper wire. There is a vacuum box under the copper mesh belt at regular intervals. Under the vacuum box, a vacuum pipe is put into the vacuum pipe, and then the intake pipe of the water ring pump is connected.
Because of the vacuum caused by the water ring pump, the moisture in the pulp on the copper mesh belt can be sucked into the pipeline to achieve the purpose of dehydration.
