Factors Influencing Pumping Speed of 2BV Vacuum Pump

The pumping speed of 2BV vacuum pump is the problem we are going to discuss today. What are the factors that affect the pumping speed?

1. The flow conduction U is very large, that is, the amount of gas passing through it is not limited, so the pumping capacity of the pump depends on its own pumping speed, which is the same as the direct connection between the pump mouth and the vacuum chamber.

2. The gas extracted from the suction port of the vacuum chamber must pass through the flow guide U to be pumped out by the vacuum pump, except that the exhausted gas moves from the suction port of the vacuum chamber to the pump port from the high pressure to the low pressure, while the exhausted gas from the pump port is a forced flow from the low pressure to the high pressure based on some suction principle.

3. The connection pipeline between 2BV vacuum pump and vacuum chamber can include cold trap and valve. Assuming that the flow conduction between pump and vacuum chamber is U, the pump must pass the flow conduction U to suction the vacuum chamber, and its suction capacity should be limited. At this time, the effective suction at the suction port of vacuum chamber is the real meaningful suction to the container. Speed S0.

4. If the pumping speed of 2BV vacuum pump is very high, that is to say, the pump's actual pumping capacity does not depend on its pumping speed, but on the gas's ability to pass through the U. The value of the flow conductivity is S0.

5. According to the basic vacuum equation, two extreme results can be obtained mathematically. That is, when the flow conductivity U is very large, the pumping speed of 2BV vacuum pump can be approximately equal to the pumping speed S of the pump. When the pumping speed S of the pump is very large, or the flow conductivity U is very small, the effective pumping speed of the vacuum chamber is approximately equal to the flow conductivity U.
