Rotary vane vacuum pump belongs to rotary positive displacement pump. The blade is placed in the rotor slot, and the rotor rotates eccentrically in the cylindrical shell. Because of the centrifugal force produced by the rotating motion of the rotor, the blade will slide out of the groove and contact with the cylinder wall. This will create space with different capacities, thus generating suction and compression effects. In order to reduce friction and improve sealing, oil is continuously injected into the compression chamber. This process occurs in two compression stages, before which process gas and working fluid are discharged through the outlet and then removed. Water cooling is used in both stages. Since lubricants flow only once through vacuum pumps, almost all liquids with a viscosity of 150 centimeters (cSt) can be used. These lubricants wash vacuum pumps continuously in order to prevent corrosion and deposition. Leaves made of three different materials are provided to ensure tolerance to most solvents.
