reciprocating vacuum pump Installation

Reciprocating vacuum pump is a dry vacuum pump. It relies on the reciprocating motion of piston in cylinder to inhale and exhaust gas. Because of the particularity of the equipment, we should follow the following steps when installing it:

(1) Reciprocating vacuum pumps should be installed on a horizontal basis and fixed with anchor bolts to prevent jitter during operation.

(2) Installation environment should be clean, ventilated and dry; protection measures against rain and moisture should be taken when outdoor installation; and good grounding between frame and motor;

(3) Install a start-up filter at the intake pipe intersection of the main pump to prevent the welding slag in the pipeline from being sucked into the pump causing accidents (stuck phenomenon). After more than 300 hours of operation, it can be replaced or dismantled according to the actual situation.

(4) Valves should be installed in intake pipeline to open or close the connection between the unit and vacuum system when the unit is open or shut down; after welding, the intake pipeline should be installed correctly and pressure-holding test should be done to ensure no leakage, otherwise the normal operation of the liquid ring vacuum pump unit will be affected;

(5) Roots pump of reciprocating vacuum unit is controlled automatically by electric contact vacuum meter. Therefore, it is necessary to install and connect electric contact vacuum meter and motor and electrical control system correctly according to the requirements of electrical schematic diagram.

After the reciprocating vacuum pump is properly installed, it can be used normally. In addition, we should pay attention to the normal maintenance of vacuum pumps in peacetime, which generally does not cause too many problems.
